Wool Breton

Description

The Breton stripe shirt was first introduced in 1858 as the uniform for all French navy seamen in Northern France. The original design featured 21 stripes, one for each of Napoleon Bonaparte's victories and the distinctive stripes made it easier to spot wayward sailors who had fallen overboard. This season we are introducing our first Breton crew neck jumper made from 100% Merino wool in a hardwearing tight Milano stitch.

Customers within the UK benefit from flat rate shipping at £3.99 via DPD with delivery between 2 to 4 days. Free standard delivery is available for all orders over £150. Orders on Next Day delivery (£7.99) must be placed before 12 noon, otherwise, the item will be dispatched the following working day. Orders shipping to the EU are at a flat rate of £21.00 with Rest of World and USA shipping at £19. We do not cover duties or any other import charges.
